Young people have long been shut out of the immigration debate. With the EU elections fast approaching, Migrants Rights Network has organised the Open Generation meet-up to amplify the voices of those under-30.

Join us on 3 April for an event from 6-9pm which will explore young people’s attitudes, concerns and opinions on immigration and free movement and feature four short commissioned films by young filmmakers. Speakers will include:

  • Owen Jones – Columnist and author
  • Dom Anderson – NUS
  • Kiri Kankhwende – Media Diversified
  • Marc Kidson – British Youth Council
  • Eliza Galos – Researcher on East European communities
  • Dan Goodwin – UNISON
  • Simon Mole and Deanna Rodger – Award winning spoken word artists
